*You are a European Economic Area (EEA) national if you are a citizen or national of one of the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom. If you have permanent residence in, but not citizenship of, any of these countries, you are not an EEA national.
Important remark for non-VLIR-UOS scholars:
Students with a non-Flemish diploma applying before April 1 (for non-EEA nationalities) or 1 June (for EEA nationalities) should pay an application fee of 50 EURO.
All visa required students who apply after April 1st and before June 1st will be charged an application fee of 100€. After the payment has been received your file will be screened by our offices. This fee is in no way refundable. Students who obtained a scholarship via our International Relations and Mobility Office (IRMO) will receive an application fee waiver via IRMO. Application fees of students who apply BEFORE April 1st are waived.
